The modularization of the existing EAB courses and the development of
personalized learning paths will
improve the permeability of further training in adhesive bonding technology and sustained the increased the
acceptance of the EWF qualification system in the industry.
The aim is to qualify operational staff
fundamentally and sufficiently, but exclusively focused on their specific activities in the adhesive bonding
workshop, thus using innovative and more flexible tools for learning and assessment.
KNOWBOND
aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Enabling the development of knowledge and skills as they are being required within the specific industrial applications;
- Facilitating the certification of operational staff linked to the performance of specific activities within the qualification path;
- Fostering life-long learning and individual learning paths;
- Enabling the modularization of the European adhesive bonder training curricula and it’s alignment with the EQF level;
- Developing innovative and digital learning tools to support the EAB implementation, using a problem-based learning approach, case studies, and other types of exercises that may support work-based learning;
- Enabling the integration of online tools within different learning platforms available;
- Ensuring harmonized and high quality in the provisioning of VET;
- Ensuring recognition and benchmark to other countries and qualification systems underpinned by EQAVET and quality assurance principles
