KNOWBOND direct target groups are operational staff of the industries, which
are applying adhesive bonding
within a limited spectrum of activities. For these participants, the expected impact is related to the
development of knowledge and skills as they are being required in their workplace in a lifelong perspective
and in alignment with their individual needs, which currently is not possible to reach with the existing EAB
training.
The project will provide solutions at European and national levels, for the challenges that VET and
digitalization of learning, particularly in the case of Adhesive Bonding technology, thus bringing the
possibility to explore and develop micro-credentials linked within a European Qualification System.
KNOWBOND
expected impact is related to:
Increase awareness about EAB updated profile and the innovative approaches and digital technologies for learning. In a long term, the impact will be related to the increased implementation of the updated Adhesive Bonder profile developed in KNOWBOND at European level in other VET systems not addressed by the project, alongside with the existing EAS and EAE training courses. KNOWBOND will have a significant impact across Europe, as it will bridge the existing gap between the educational offer and industrial demand concerning specific Adhesive Bonding activities at the EAB level, thus covering the need to qualify personnel working in this technological field. By delivering the updated EAB qualification, learning tools, user guide and quality assurance recommendation, the project will address the European Union's targets and horizontal priority of promoting digital transformation through development of digital readiness, resilience, and capacity. At the same time, it will address the specific VET priorities of fostering the innovation of training programs in alignment with the market specific needs, thus fostering its implementation in other VET systems across Europe
